Choice Athletics offers year round private baseball & softball lessons.
Private lessons are a terrific way for players to hone their skills with individualized attention and coaching. Our lessons offer a personalized approach to training and development, allowing players to focus on specific areas of their game that need improvement or general overall improvement. Each session is typically 30-minutes.
Coaches may utilize HitTrax training system, Blast Motion, ArmCare, other systems, techniques, and equipment to help players improve their hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, and more.
Durango High School’s current head baseball coach is Coach Hibbeler. He relocated to the Durango area in late 2024 with the goal of elevating local baseball.

Coach Dempsie has been a resident of the Durango and Bayfield area for over 36 years. As a youth baseball player from the area, he loves being able to give back to the place that helped form his love for Baseball.
