Choice Athletics offers year round private baseball lessons.
Private lessons are a terrific way for players to hone their skills with individualized attention and coaching. Our lessons offer a personalized approach to training and development, allowing players to focus on specific areas of their game that need improvement or general overall improvement.
Coaches may utilize HitTrax training system, Blast Motion, ArmCare, other systems, techniques, and equipment to help players improve their hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, and more.
Coach Dempsie has been a resident of the Durango and Bayfield area for over 36 years. As a youth baseball player from the area, he loves being able to give back to the place that helped form his love for Baseball.

- Named 2023 NCAA All-Columbia Regional Team after batting .500
- Led NC State with 17 doubles and 28 extra-base hits
- 4 Years – Outfielder at Davidson College (2019-2022)
- Senior Year
- Second-consecutive All-Atlantic 10 First-Team Recognition
- Led Davidson to program’s first regular season Atlantic 10 Championship
- Junior Year
- Named First-Team All-Atlantic 10
- Named the A-10 Player of the Week
- Team leader in on-base percentage plus slugging percentage (OPS) at .960, runs scored with 40, total bases with 99, slugging percentage at .576 and stolen bases with 13

- Played in 11 games with nine starts in a season shortened by COVID-19

- Hit .235 with 11 doubles, a triple, 11 home runs and 32 RBI
