Choice Athletics offers year round private baseball lessons.
Private lessons are a terrific way for players to hone their skills with individualized attention and coaching. Our lessons offer a personalized approach to training and development, allowing players to focus on specific areas of their game that need improvement or general overall improvement.
Coaches may utilize HitTrax training system, Blast Motion, ArmCare, other systems, techniques, and equipment to help players improve their hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, and more.
We are excited to welcome Gage Mestas as our summer intern and coach! Gage is currently a student-athlete studying Sports Management at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Born and raised in Durango, Gage had the opportunity to play travel baseball during his youth. He graduated from Durango High School (DHS) as a dual-sport athlete, excelling in both football and baseball.
Gage is passionate about giving back to his community. He is looking forward to assisting, training, and mentoring the youth of his hometown, helping them develop their skills and love for the game.
We are thrilled to have Gage join us this summer and can’t wait to see the positive impact he will make on our young athletes!

Coach Dempsie has been a resident of the Durango and Bayfield area for over 36 years. As a youth baseball player from the area, he loves being able to give back to the place that helped form his love for Baseball.

Coach Hibbard has been a Durango Resident for 49 years. Now a retired Bayfield Middle School teacher, he was itching to get back into baseball. With more than 30 years of coaching experience makes a fantastic addition to the Choice Athletics team.
